Online sales of our Pond Clean product has prompted me to add a little bit of an update on how to get the best out of the product. A lot of people are expressing their concern over the safety of their fish or turtles after using a bacteria based product. Be assured that our bacteria strains have absolutely no effect on anything living or drinking out of the pond after dosing. The bacteria have 2 jobs. One is to consume the excess nutrients in the water starving the floating algae and slime. Two, is to consume the accumulated sludge on the bottom of the pond.
The process happens at its own pace and can’t be hurried by “adding more product”. It’s a starvation process and so we can’t predict how quickly it will occur, but be assured that it will occur!
We tell everybody that see’s us at a field day or show that you dose your pond when it’s at its worst, so DON’T CLEAN OUT BEFORE YOU DOSE!
